Candidates can download their interview call letters and Bio data form for Phase II on 05th February 2015 onwards from the official website. About SBI
Associate PO Exam 2014
The SBI Associate POs Exam was
conducted on 9th,
15th, 23rd and 29th November 2014. The SBI Associate PO EXAM 2014 was conducted by ONLINE
MODE.
In ONLINE Mode, the exam was entertained through filling of circles on
Computer Generated Page containing information of answers which was selected by
filling circle in it. There was no OMR sheet was filled by
Blue/Black ball point pen. A rough blank sheet was issued
for calculations/rough work in exam. This rough sheet must have been
submitted to the duty officer in the end of the exam.
The Exam was available in bilingual
languages- English & Hindi.
The exam was conducted an
objective multiple choice question paper of 200 questions of 200
marks to be done within 2 hours or 120 minutes. The exam was consisted
of four sections contains questions of English
(50 questions of 50 Marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50 Questions of 50 Marks), Reasoning
(50 questions of 50 marks) and General Awareness (50 questions of 50 marks).
The exam was a multiple choice question paper in which five options were
provided out of which candidates need to choose one correct answer. There
was 1/4th negative marking for each wrong answer.
After
completion of MCQ paper, a descriptive exam was conducted after a brake of 10
minutes. The descriptive exam was a hand written exam. Candidate had to write
answers by hand which was displayed on the computer. An answer
sheet was provided to do formalities to fill registration number and question
paper serial number. The descriptive exam was taken for five sections i.e. Essay
writing, Précis writing, Paragraph, Letter writing and comprehension.
Choices were provided in each section. The
total marks for descriptive exam was 50 marks.

The qualified candidates will be called
for 2nd stage which is group discussion and interview stage.
Three times more than required candidates will be called for interview.
Phase II - Group Discussion & Personal Interview
Short Listed candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interview which is scheduled on 16th February 2015. In Group Discussion, 4-5 candidates will be given a topic (Financial/ Banking/ Current Affairs) which will need to be explained within 3-4 minutes including facts and figure. The Group discussion & Personal Interview may be held in the provided sequences.

Short Listed candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interview which is scheduled on 16th February 2015. In Group Discussion, 4-5 candidates will be given a topic (Financial/ Banking/ Current Affairs) which will need to be explained within 3-4 minutes including facts and figure. First stage - Document Verification before Interview
·
Reach the venue of Interview 30
minutes before the time mentioned.
·
Bring computer generated online application,
result print, original documents original along with one set of self-attested of all
the documents to the venue of interview.
·
Address proof i.e. PAN Card, Ration
Card, Aadhar Card, Voter card or Driving License.
·
Bring two extra colored recent passport size
photograph (same as pasted on computer generated application form)
·
Bring Caste/PWD/EXS certificate to claim for
seat available for reserve category.
·
NOC (No Objection Certificate) in case of
working somewhere.

Candidate must bring at least one set of photo copy attested along with
original document required for document verification before the commencement of
interview. A candidate must have following set of original document for

Second Stage - Group Discussion
Expected Topics for Group Discussion
Expected Topics for Group Discussion
In group discussion, a group of 3-7
candidates will be called to discuss any current issue. The time for group
discussion is expected at least 10-15 minutes. A current topic will be asked to
make discussion about pros and cons of the topic. The group discussion must be
attended in English to English. All Candidates will have to maintain focus and
discipline during the group discussion. The key to qualify group discussion will be patience, depth
knowledge of topic, fluency in English and brief discussion with strong example
as evidence/fact/figures. Some expected topics may be asked for discussion
in group discussion.
