The Indian Army
has released result / Merit list /
Marks Detail of those candidates who had appeared in written examination which
was scheduled on 26th October 2014 at all HQ RTG Zones for the posts of
Soldier, Clerk and Storekeeper in various departments. The merit list of
candidates is released with scorecard/ marks detailed/ marks obtained by all
candidates in Paper I and Paper II. The result is released in PDF containing
name of candidates, father name, Date of birth, educational qualification, code
number, roll number, marks obtained in Paper 1 & Paper II, Grand total,
result (Pass/Fail), position in merit list and Trade allotted by the
candidates. These selected candidates who had got allotment of arms and
services will be dispatched Enrolment of Training Centres.

The Final Selection process of
screening and enrolment will be done based in the performance in various

Indian Navy had already conducted
checking of documents in the application form, physical fitness test, Physical
measurement and Medical Exam. The Indian Army Written Exam was conducted on 20th
October 2014 by Pen Mode. In Pen Mode, the exam will be entertained
through filling of circles on Computer Generated Page known as OMR Sheet containing
information of answers which will be selected by filling circle in it. This OMR
sheet will be filled by Blue/Black ball point pen. The exam was consisted
of two papers. Paper 1 was Compulsory for all Soldier Categories
and Paper –II was for Soldier Technical, Soldier Clerk (General Duty/Store
Keeper Technical).
Paper I
Paper I was an objective multiple
choice question paper. Paper I was comprised
of questions on IQ/Numerical ability, general knowledge and current affairs. The
total time duration of paper I was 01 hours or 60 minutes. Total marks allotted
for Paper I exam was 100 in which Pass Marks was 32 Marks for Paper I.
Paper II
Paper-II was an objective multiple
choice questions for Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical was of 50 marks. Paper
II was comprised of English (Language Proficiency), Maths & Computer
Science which was required to be completed within time duration of 30 minutes.
The qualifying or passing marks for Paper II was 20 marks.
The merit list of the qualified
candidates is released on the official website of Indian Navy in which
allotment of Arm Services is mentioned. These shortlisted will be provided
Enrollment training centres very soon.
