Gujarat Police Department has released
final result of Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which was conducted on various
dates in the month of January & February 2015 for a total 8450 posts of Police
Sub-Inspector Assistant Sub-Inspectors & Constable against Gujarat Police
Bharti.

Gujarat Police Constable Admit Card 2016
The result has released in form of qualified / not qualified along with
marks obtained/ scorecard of individual candidates. The qualified candidates
will be called for written examination. The admit card for written examination
will be released on the official website which is expected to be released in
March/ April 2015. The Final selection of candidates will be done based on
performance in Physical Standards Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Tests (PET), Written
Test and Personal Interview. Earlier Gujrat Police Recruitment Board had
released Police Bharti advertisement invited online application from 21st
November 2014 to 12th December 2014 for the eligible candidates who
had passed graduation for posts of ASI PSI & passed 12th for the
post of constable. Approx. 87,000 candidates had applied for these posts from
all over the state. A huge numbers of candidates had appeared in PET. Those
candidates who had appeared in PET and waiting for their PET result; they can

1st
Stage – Physical Efficiency Test
Physical
Efficiency Test (PET):
·
For
Male candidates Race 5 Kms in 24 minutes.
·
For
Female candidates Race 1.6 Kms in 8 ½ minutes
·
For
candidates of Ladakh Region:
·
Male
Race 1 Mile in 6 ½ minutes
·
Female
Race 800 meters in 4 minutes
·
Pregnancy
at the time of PET will be considered a disqualification and pregnant female
candidates shall be rejected at this stage.
·
PET
will not be held for Ex-Servicemen.
Physical
standards laid down for the post of SI was
a)
Height:
a. For Males : 170 cms.
b. For Females : 157 cms.
b)
Chest:
a. For males only – Unexpanded : 80 cms. –
b. Expanded : Min expansion 5 cms.
c)
Weight
:
a. For males and Females : Proportionate
to height and age as per medical standards
It was consisted of Physical efficiency
test, Screening of Testimonials, Physical Measurement / Efficiency test.
2nd Stage
– Written Examination
The qualified candidates will be called
for Written Examination.
