Union Public
Service Commission (UPSC) has released Scorecard/ Marks Details of Engineering
Services Examination 2014 on 13th March 2015 on the official website
of recommended candidates for the various posts in Group A/B for Civil Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, ET & T Engineering

UPSC had released Final Result/ interview result of Indian
Engineering services based on the results of written Examination which was
conducted in month June 2014 and personal interviews was conducted in month
January-February 2015. UPSC had also released List of recommended candidates
for appointment to various Services / Posts in Ministries / Departments concerned
on the official website on 04th March 2015 in which a total of 589
candidates has selected on number of vacancies reported by the Govt. for Group
‘A’/’B’ posts. Union Public Service Commission has a ‘Facilitation Counter’
near Examination Hall Building in its Campus. Candidates may obtain any
information /clarification regarding their Examination/recruitments on working
days between 10:00 A.M. and 05:00 P.M. in person or over Telephone Nos.
011-23385271 and 011-23381125 from this Counter. Those candidates who are
waiting for scorecard/ marks detail of recommended candidates; they can
download their Scorecards/ Marks Details from the direct link provided in the

IES Exam 2014 – Exam Syllabus, Exam Pattern & Selection Process Details
The final selection of the candidates
will be based Merit List on the basis of Performance in Written Examination and
Personal Interview of eligible candidates only.
1st
Stage – Written Examination
The UPSC IES Exam was conducted in
the month of June 2014 by Pen MODE. In Pen Mode, OMR sheet was
to be filled by Blue/Black ball point pen.
The written exam was provided in
bilingual language i.e. Hindi and English.
UPSC IES Exam was consisted of various
topics i.e. General
English, General Studies, Subject Related questions. The exam was question
paper of 1000 marks in which four options were provided out of
which candidates needed to choose one correct answer. The time duration of exam
was of 3 hours or 180 minutes.
2nd Stage – Personal Interview
The qualified candidates were called
for personal interview which was held for 200 Marks.
