AP Postal Circle declared result of Lower Grade Officials for the promotion to the cadre of the Postal Assistants / Sorting Assistant (PA/ SA) on official website www.appost.in. AP Postal Circle had conducted Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for LGO at various centres. AP Postal Circle declared Merit list of candidates. The detail of Division wise unfilled OC/ SC/ ST/ PH Vacancies are shown in Annexure III. The surplus qualified candidates selected under OC/ SC/ ST / PH Category can opt for only such divisions, where vacancies under the respective categories are available (As per annexure III). It is recommended that the Divisional Heads will please obtain the letter of willingness from the surplus qualified candidates indicating the names of three or more divisions as per choice in order of preference and forward to this office. Pradesh Postal Circle Result – Exam Syllabus, Exam Pattern & Mode of
Selection
1st Stage – AP Postal Circle Written Examination
The Exam was conducted by Pen Mode. In Pen Mode there was OMR
sheet which was filled by Blue/Black ball point pen.
The question paper was provided in
bilingual language i.e. Hindi or English.
There was a multiple choice questions
paper containing subjects English/Hindi (25 questions of 25 marks), Regional
Language (25 questions of 25 marks), Mathematics (25 questions of 25 marks) and
General Knowledge & General Awareness (25 questions of 25 marks) questions.
The total marks for exam was 100 marks of 100 questions and duration was 2hrs
i.e. 120 minutes.
AP Postal Circle Cut off Marks
Qualifying Marks

Parts A &
B- Minimum 10 marks for OC, 8 marks for SC/ST and 9 marks for OBC candidates in
each part.
·
Part C (Two
segments) - Minimum 10 marks for OC, 8 marks for SC/ST and 9 marks for OBC
candidates in each segment.
·
40 marks for
OC, 33 marks for SC/ST and 37 marks for OBC candidates in aggregate with the
condition as A & B above.
2nd
Stage – Document Verification of Short Listed/ Qualified Candidates
·
Reach the venue of Interview 30
minutes before the time mentioned.
·
Bring computer generated online application,
result print, original documents original along with one set of self-attested of all
the documents to the venue of interview.
·
Address proof i.e. PAN Card, Ration
Card, Aadhar Card, Voter card or Driving License.
·
Bring two extra colored recent passport size
photograph (same as pasted on computer generated application form)
·
Bring Caste/PWD/EXS certificate to claim for
seat available for reserve category.
·
NOC (No Objection Certificate) in case of
working somewhere
The list of
Final Selected candidates will be released on the official website of AP Postal
Circle Official Website. Based on the marks obtained in the Aptitude Test, a
merit list of qualified candidates will he prepared in each Postal/RMS Division
separately. As per the availability of vacancies as notified above, selection
will be made in the respective unit based on the merit list among the
candidates applied for that particular Division/Unit.
