Important Note - The candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Quantity Surveying & Contracts) are required to attempt Part-A (Civil & Structural) of Paper-I and Paper-II and the candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical) are required to attempt Part-B (Electrical) and the candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer (Mechanical) are required to attempt Part-C (Mechanical) of Paper-I and Paper-II failing which their candidature will be rejected.

Qualifying Marks –
Minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I and Paper-II are as follows:
·         UR : 30%
·         OBC/ EWS : 25%
·         Others : 20%

STEP: 1. REGISTRATION

1.  Go to OFFICIAL WEBSITE & click on ‘NEW REGISTRATION’.
2. Enter your ‘BASIC DETAILS’ and click on the save & next button. An OTP will be sent to your registered email ID and mobile. Verify your OTP to generate your registration and password. This registration and password will be sent to your email Id and mobile number.

STEPS: 2. LOGIN >> 3. CONTACT DETAILS>> 4. RESERVATION DETAILS >>5. UPLOAD PHOTO & SIGN

3. Now, go to the HOME page. Login your account by using Note down registration and password. Set NEW PASSWORD and LOGIN AGAIN with new password. Enter your personal details. Press Save & Next Button.
4. Enter your contact details such as address. Press Save & Next Button.
5. Upload photograph & signature. Press submit Button.
6. Enter your particular details, Mark sheet details etc.
7. Finally Submit the application form.

STEPS: 7. FILL CENTER CHOICE & OTHER DETAILS >> 8. PAYMENT & FINAL SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM

8. Go the account page. Check out the relevant openings. Select which you want to apply. Click on ‘APPLY’ button. Enter the rest of the details such as age & reservations, choice filling, highest educational details etc. Click on save & next button.
9. Check the final draft and click on ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ button. Now, make the payment online & take printout of the application form on a neat piece of paper for future requirements.

SSC had circulated JE Paper I result on 06.05.2016 on ssc.nic.in. The SSC JE Paper I was organized on 31st January 2016 at many exam centers. Approx. 3.08 lakh candidates had appeared in Paper I and many have qualified for SSC JE Paper II exam which is planning to be tentatively held on 24th July 2016. Based on SSC JE Paper I result declared on 06.04.2016 for evaluation of Paper-II on the basis of which many candidates have qualified for Paper-II of Civil Engineering and others have qualified for Paper-II of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. Earlier SSC had invited applications for the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical and Quantity Surveying and Contract). The SSC JE Paper II will be organized on 24th July 2016. SSC JE Paper II will be an offline written exam which will be conducted for 300 Marks. The time duration will be 2 hours or 120 minutes for the exam. SSC JE Paper II will be delivered in three parts, Part A, Part B and Part C. Candidates will have to attempt any one of their respective part which they had appeared in SSC JE Paper I. The capable candidates will run into 2nd stage i.e. an Interview which will be held for 100 marks. These nominated candidates will be interviewed by SSC Panel/ Expert/ Authority. A SSC JE Paper II Merit list will be set upon the performance of written exam and interview. Finally a list of selected candidates endorsed for interview will be released on the official website address.
