The final selection
process for Jharkhand Police Group D posts will be comprised of four steps or
stages which need to be qualified for final appointment joining of the
candidate.

Physical
Test
First a physical test
will be organized in which height and chest of the candidates will be measured
as per norm of the advertisement.

General candidates – Height – 160 cm
& Chest -81 cm
·
OBC – Height – 160 cm & Chest -81 cm
·
SC/ ST candidates – Height – 155 cm
& Chest -79 cm
·
Female candidates – Height – 148 cm
A physical test in
which running (Race) will be organized by the department of police. The candidates
will required to obtain 30% marks out of 50 marks to qualify the physical test.

Trade Test
A trade test will be conducted in
which the candidate’s skill/ proficiency to make breakfast, lunch or dinner
will be assessed. The knowledge to prepare food will be also be measured. The
preference will be given to those candidates who have good hand in making food.
It is mandatory to bring the tool
with you at the time of trade test.
Based on the performance in trade
test, the candidates will be assessed out of 100 marks.
Final Merit
List
A merit list will be prepared on
the basis of position in the list. The shortlisted candidates will be called
for document verification in which all the original documents will be checked
by the officials in order to claim for the post.
