 Railway Sports Person (Sports Quota) Selection Process

Railway Sports Person Quota Selection Process
The final selection process for Railway Sports Quota will be comprised of four steps or stages which need to be qualified for final appointment joining of the candidate. This stages are discussed as -
1. Sports Trails
2. Interview
3. Document verification
4. Medical examination
Sports Trails
Railway Sports Person Quota Admit card will be available at interview and document verification stages of the candidates. It is mandatory to produce printout of online admit card at the time of attending any of these days without which the candidate will be sort out or eliminated from the selection process.
Distribution of Marks -
1. Recognized sports achievement as per norms - 50 marks
2. Games skill, and coach observation during trial - 40 marks (minimum 25 marks are required to qualify)
3. Educational qualification - 5 marks
4. General Intelligence and personality - 5 marks
Total - 100 marks
Qualifying Marks
Minimum qualifying marks - for Pay Band I Grade Pay Rs.2000/Rs.1900/-, minimum qualifying marks will be 65 out of 100.
Interview
The qualified candidate will be called for interview. Railway administration will fix interview date. Interview call letter will be send to the qualified candidates.

The final selection will be based on merit list prepared from the distribution marks and interview score.

In the event of appointment as clerk cum typist, the candidate will required to qualify typing test in English 30 words per minute and Hindi 25 word per minute within 4 years from the date of appointment.
