Written Exam Syllabus and Selection Process
Physical Eligibility Test: 1st Stage
A

A test of Physical Ability will be
conducted by UP Police Department to evaluate the eligibility of the candidate
for the post of Police constable.
The qualified candidates will have to
pass written examination.
2nd
Stage – Written Test
The exam will be conducted by Pen
MODE. The exam will be entertained through filling of circles on Computer
Generated Page known as OMR Sheet containing information of questions and
answers will be selected by filling circles in it. This OMR sheet will be to be
filled by Blue/Black ball point pen. The exam will be consisted of various
sections General Awareness (100 Marks), Rational Ability (75 marks),
Physical Ability (75 Marks) and Reasoning (50 marks). The exam will
be a multiple choice question (MCQ) paper of total 300 marks and four
options will be provided out of which candidates need to choose one correct
answer. The time duration for exam will be 2 hours or 120 minutes.
The exam questions will be up to 10th level. For more information

Answer Keys of Exams
Exam will be conducted on the scheduled
time mentioned in UP
POLICE Admit cards of the candidates. The Official Answer keys has discussed on
the official website of UP POLICE EXAM.
The qualifying criteria in the
exam will be 35% for General/Ex-service/OBC/SC/ST.
The qualified candidate will have to
attain Interview stage.
3rd Stage – Personal
Interview
Requirement of Interview
All the selected candidates must reach the venue of Interview at least 20-30
minutes before the time mentioned on the interview letter of the candidate.

Selected candidates are required to bring computer
generated online application, result print,
original documents (10th, 12th, UC DMC, Cast certificate
–If applicable etc.) and one set of self-attested of all the documents to the
venue of interview. 10th Certificate is used for Age
Proof.
·
Candidate must bring at least one Address
proof i.e. PAN Card, Ration Card, Aadhar Card, Voter card or Driving License.
·
Candidates are advised to bring two
extra colored recent passport size photograph (same as pasted on computer
generated application form) required for application form or other document
requirements.
·
Candidate must bring Caste/PWD/EXS
certificate to claim for seat available for reserve category.
·
If the candidate is an employer of any organization
then it is mandatory to bring original as well as photocopy of NOC
(No Objection Certificate) with them.
A Merit list will be prepared for short
listed candidates. These short listed candidates will have to face medical
examination conducted by UP Police medical Officers.
