Method of Sitting Arrangement Puzzle- Reasoning Short Cut Trick
LEFT-RIGHT MATHOD is one of 100% accurate and reliable methods to solve such 10-15 questions in 3-5 minutes only.
RULES FOR FOR LEFT RIGHT METHOD-SITTING ARRANGEMENT PUZZLE
1.      Count all objects and draw a circle. Mark all position in the circle (see example for clarity).
2.      Read the statement line by line (right to left) and write the arrangement as per statement (see example for clarity).
3.      Put cross mark (x) mark for vacant left and right positions (see example for clarity).
4.      Put first object on the middle at the bottom say A.
5.      According to object ‘A’ take all right positions in anticlockwise direction (see figure 1).
6.      According to object ‘A’ take all left positions in clockwise direction (see figure 1).
7.      Check and verify all the positions according to statement.
NOTE:
a)      For Circular Sitting Arrangement those objects which are facing inwards (towards) centre are favorable to us which means LEFT-RIGHT position are same to reference object ‘A’ and those objects which are facing outwards are unfavorable to us  which means LEFT-RIGHT position are opposite to reference object ‘A’. (see example 1 for clarity)
b)      For straight sitting arrangement, those objects which are facing NORTH are favorable to us which means LEFT-RIGHT position are same to reference object ‘A’ and those objects which are facing SOUTH are unfavorable to us  which means LEFT-RIGHT position are opposite to reference object ‘A’. (see example 2 for clarity)

PREVIOUS PAPERS FOR SOLVING SITTING ARRANGEMENT PUZZLE- Reasoning Short Cut Trick examples
Question 1: (SBI PO 2013)
P, Q, R, S, T, U and V are sitting in a circle. Five of them are facing the centre while two of them are facing opposite to the centre. R sits third to the left of S and both are facing the centre. T is neither an immediate member of S nor of R. The one sitting exactly between S and U is facing to the centre. V sits third to the right of P and V is facing opposite to the centre. One of Q’s neighbors is facing opposite to the centre.
Solution: By applying LEFT RIGHT METHOD OF SITTING ARRANGEMENT PUZZLE
1.      Total Objects = 07.
Draw a circle. Mark all position of objects in the circle as shown in step 1 in Figure 2.

Note:
Five of them are facing centre means favorable to us and then left two are facing outward means unfavorable to us.
2.      Read the statement line by line (right to left) and write the arrangement as per statement. Take all right positions in anticlockwise direction & take all left positions in clockwise direction.
a.       R sits third to the left of S and both are facing the centre.
Left ß---------S--------à Right
R x x S                                                (Both are Facing Centre)
Now put S on the middle bottom of the circle and position R on left side (Clockwise direction) to S same as shown in Step 2 in Figure 2.
b.      T is neither an immediate member of S nor of R.
TX S TX and TX R TX              (Facing unknown)
In this case, the facing is not discussed but positions of S or T are mentioned in the statement. Mark crossed position of T with respect to R and S same as shown in Step 3 Figure 2. This will provide the position of T in Circle.
c.       The one sitting exactly between S and U is facing to the centre.
S x U or U x S                         (x Represents Positions of One and Facing centre)
The position of S and U can be interchanged because it is not discussed the exact positions of S and U. Thus we can use both of the options but need to be verified for accurate result. Then put U from left of S by leaving one position blank same as shown in Step 4 in Figure 2.
d.      V sits third to the right of P and V is facing opposite to the centre. (unfavorable condition-opposite situation)
P x x V                                                            (V Facing opposite to the centre)
In this case position of P and V is not discussed in reference to all other objects. So their position can be done by hit and trial method which is based on most convenient positions same as shown in Step 5 in Figure 2.
e.       One of Q’s neighbors is facing opposite to the centre.
The left blank position is the position of Q. Now arrange all by putting position inward and outward by considering NOTE which is discussed earlier. Thus the correct arrange is same as shown in Step 6 in Figure 2.
