Bharat
Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has
schedule open competitive written examination on 22nd February 2015
for 962 vacant posts of Junior Accountant Officers (JAO) at 25 telecom centres
in India. A huge number of candidates had applied for these posts from all over
the country. The latest news is that Admit cards/ Call letters for BSNL JAO
Exam 2015 have been released on 9th February 2015 on the official
website of BSNL. Those candidates who had applied and waiting for admit cards
for exam can download their admit cards from direct link provided in the end of
the posts. BSNL has also released general instruction for the candidates for
written examination on the official website. Earlier, BSNL had released notification
for online application / registration for a total of 962 posts of BSNL JAO (DR)
in various departments for chartered accountant graduates / M. Com graduate
candidates. The last date to apply online was 31st December 2014.
The selection will be done on the basis of merit achieved by the candidate in written
examination.
According to
the instruction provided by BSNL, candidates are mandatory to bring their admit
card printed copy along with photo identity proof of the candidate. Only Adhar
card or PAN card is valid as photo identity proof of the candidate. No
candidates are allowed without having these two cards (admit card/ identity
card). Late coming candidates will not be allowed to the examination hall. Candidates
are advised not to bring any other item expect these to the examination hall. The
SC/ST candidates can download TA/DA form to claim for travel compensation of
written examination. It is advised to the candidate to read all the instruction
carefully before appearing in the open competitive examination.

BSNL JAO EXAM 2015 – Exam Syllabus,
Exam Pattern & Selection Process
1st
Stage – Written Exam of Candidate
The written exam will be conducted on 22nd
February 2015. The written exam will be conducted by Pen Mode. The written examination
will be conducted on OMR Sheet. Entries are required to be filled very
carefully because NO cutting & erasing is allowed on the OMR Sheet. A
candidate can provide answer by bubbling circles (darkening with blue/black
ball point pen only) on the appropriate place on the answer sheet.
The written exam will be conducted in
Bilingual Language i.e. Hindi and English.
In the examination two papers i.e.
Paper 1 & Paper 2 will be conducted.

Paper 1 – Written Examination
The written exam will consist of
various sections contains questions of General English (100 Marks) &
General Awareness (50 marks).
The exam will be a multiple choice
question paper of 150 marks in which four options are
provided out of which candidates need to choose one correct answer. The time
duration for exam will be 3 hours or 180 minutes. There is a negative
marking of 1/4th to each wrong answer.
Paper 2 – Written Examination
The written exam will consist of
various sections contains questions of Financial management / Cost
Accounting / Tax and commercial laws. The exam will
be a multiple choice question paper of 300 marks in which four
options are provided out of which candidates need to choose one correct
answer. The time duration for exam will be 3 hours or 180 minutes. There
is a negative marking of 1/4th to each wrong answer.
