Latest News (14.07.2015): Chandigarh Education Department has released discrepancy list on 14.07.2015 on official website for the post of JBT/ PRT. The discrepancy list has prepared by document verification committee 1, committee 2 and committee 3 based on second round of document checking of shortlisted candidates.
The second round of document checking for JBT/ PRT posts was
held on 9.7.2015 at Chandigarh centre to check the eligibility of the
candidates. During original documents checking of all the candidates, certain
discrepancies have been pointed out by document verification committees. The

Chd Edu Board has released latest instruction about list of document required at the time of document verification which is going to be held on 16th & 17th April 2015 at govt. model Sr. Sec. School, Sector-10, Chandigarh. It is mandatory for the candidates to bring original documents and set of photocopies at the venue of reporting. No candidates will be allowed to attend document verification without having original documents. It is advised to the candidates to reach the venue 20-30 minutes before the reporting time. The late coming candidates may not be entertained for document verification process. All the candidates are required to produce the following documents at the time of document verification.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES
1. All the candidates must have printout of online application with photograph pasted
on it.
2. Photograph, declaration on application and all the photocopies attached with the
printout are to be signed by the candidates. Registration no. and roll no. is also to be
written on each document attached with the application.
3. Photocopies are to be attached in the following sequence and the original
documents are also to be shown in the said order:-
(a) Certificate of 10th/12th class for Date of Birth.
(b) Certificate of essential qualifications i.e.
(i) Graduation with 40% marks in aggregate and at least 50% marks at 10+2
level. Degree of graduation is also required. (For NTT, graduation certificate is
not required.)
(ii) Diploma in Basic Teacher Training of not less than 2 years duration
recognized by NCTE, with at least 50% marks in aggregate. (For NTT, nursery
teacher certificate of 1 year duration is also to be consider as per
corrigendum issued by the department.)
(iii) Certificate of Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the CBSE
New Delhi applicable for the teachers teaching class I to V in accordance with
the Guidelines framed by the NCTE. (Not required for NTT)
(c) Certificate of reserved category i.e. SC/OBC/PH/ESM/SPORTS (DESM, Leneal
certificate, declarations regarding “Creamy Layer”).
(d) Certificate to claim age relaxation (teaching experience of Govt schools in
Chandigarh, widow, deserted women, Govt. servant, etc.)
(e) Proof for deposit of fees.
(f) Equivalence certificate, if any.
(g) Any other relevant certificate in support of eligibility, age relaxation, category
and merit.
Serial number is to be written on all attached documents and total
number of certificates/documents attached is also to be mentioned in application by
the candidates.

Chd JBT 2015 Document Verifications of Candidates
Selected candidates are required
to bring computer generated online
application, result print, original documents (10th, DMC, Cast certificate –If
applicable etc.) and one set of self-attested of all the documents to the venue
of document verification. 10th Certificate is used for Age Proof. Candidate must bring at least one Address proof i.e. PAN Card, Ration
Card, Aadhar Card, Voter card or Driving License. Candidates
are advised to bring two
extra colored recent passport size photograph (same as pasted on computer
generated application form)
required for application form or other document requirements. Candidate must
bring Caste/PWD/EXS
certificate to claim for seat available for reserve category. If the
candidate is an employer of any organization then it is mandatory to bring
original as well as photocopy of NOC
(No Objection Certificate) with
them.

Chandigarh Education Department (CED) had released notification for filling 489 vacant posts of Junior Basic Teacher (JBT) and 103 vacant posts of Nursery Teacher (NTT) pay scale Rs. 10,300-34,800/- Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- on regular basis. Last date for fee deposit was 28th December 2014. CED had conducted written examination on 31st January 2015 and 01st February 2015 for the posts of JBT & NTT for Chandigarh Region only. The written exam was successfully conducted at various centres in all over the city. A huge number of candidates had appeared from all over the country especially from Haryana, Punjab and Delhi state. These candidates are waiting for result of written examination. Chandigarh NTT Exam 2015- Exam pattern, Exam Syllabus, Qualifying Marks and
Process of Selection1st Stage - Written Examination
Chandigarh JBT NTT Exam 2015 was successfully conducted on 31st January & 01st February 2015. The Chandigarh JBT NTT Exam was conducted by Pen MODE. The OMR sheet was to be filled by Blue/Black ball point pen. In the exam two objective type papers i.e. Paper 1 & Paper 2 of 100 Marks each were conducted in both JBT & NTT Exam. Candidates will be selected on the Merit based on total marks obtained in Paper 1 & Paper 2. Exam Paper 1 exam was conducted in morning from 10 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 was conducted in afternoon from 3 PM to 5 PM. Paper 1 was consisted of various sections English, Hindi, Mental Ability, Teaching Aptitude and General Awareness of 20 questions of 20 marks for each section. The Exam was a multiple choice question paper of 100 questions of 100 marks. Four options were provided out of which candidates need to choose one correct answer. Paper 2 was consisted of various 25 questions of each subject related to Math, Science, Social Studies and Punjabi. The Exam was a multiple choice question paper of 100 questions of 100 marks. Four options were provided out of which candidates need to choose one correct answer.
Chandigarh JBT NTT Cut Off Marks Qualifying Marks
Qualifying marks for Paper 1 & Paper 2 will be 40% for SC category candidates and 45% for all other candidates. No interview will be conducted.
