Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) SET Exam 2014 was held on 27th July 2014 and result had announced on 03rd February 2015. A total of 6235 candidates had qualified in this written examination. RPSC is going to release SET Qualified Certificate based on first 4676 qualified candidates. About RPSC SET
Written Exam 2014 – Exam Syllabus, Exam Pattern & Qualifying Marks
The RPSC SET EXAM was conducted on 27th
July 2014. The exam was conducted by Pen MODE. There was OMR sheet to be
filled by Blue/Black ball point pen.
The written exam was provided in
bilingual language i.e. Hindi and English.
The written exam was consisted of three
papers i.e. Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3 in morning and evening session. Paper
1 was schedule in the morning from 09:30 AM to 10:45 AM, then Paper 2 was
started after a break of 15 minutes that means from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM. Paper
3 was conducted in the noon from 01:30 PM to 04:00 PM.
In Paper 1 –
Multiple choice questions (MCQ)
Exam was designed to access the
teaching/research aptitude by solving reasoning ability, comprehension,
divergent thinking and general awareness questions in the exam. IN this paper a
total of 60 Multiple choice questions of two marks each will be given, out of
which the candidate was required to answer any 50 questions and four options
are provided out of which candidates need to choose one correct answer. Total
marks for exam was 100 marks. The time duration for exam was 1 ¼ hours
or 75 minutes.
In Paper 2 –
Multiple choice questions (MCQ)
In Paper 2, a total of 50 questions each
of carrying 2 marks were provided and all questions were compulsory to answer.
There was no choice in paper 2. Total marks for exam was 100 marks. The
time duration for exam was 1 ¼ hours or 75 minutes.
In Paper 3 –
Multiple choice questions (MCQ)
In Paper 3, a total of 75 questions
each of carrying 2 marks were provided and all questions were compulsory to
answer. There was no choice in paper 3. Total marks for exam was 150 marks. The
time duration for exam was 2 ½ hours or 150 minutes.
