Tamil
Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has released notification
advertisement no. 1/15 on 08th February 2015 on the official website
for a total of 1078 vacancies/ posts of Sub-Inspector of Police (Tauk) for Men
& Women candidates on pay scale Rs. 9300-34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4800/- in
Tamil Nadu Police Subordinate Service. The online application will be started
from 08th February 2015 on the official website of TNUSRB. Any form
other than online application will not be accepted and application will be
rejected. The last date to apply online/ closure of online registration is 10th
March 2015. Last date of Fee payment through ONLINE mode is 10th
March 2015. The last date for acceptance of offline payment of examination fees
through Indian Bank or Postal Challan is 13th March 2015.

The Final Selection of the candidate will be made based on performance in written examination which will be conducted for 70 marks – Open quota / 85 marks – Department quota, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which will be conducted for 15 marks for qualified candidates of written examination open quota and 5 marks for departmental quota and Viva-vice (personal interview) of the candidates who will get shortlisted from PET performance. In the stage of PET, document verification will be done in which original candidature of candidate will be checked by the officials. The written examination for open quota will be conducted on 23rd April 2015 and for departmental quota on 24th April 2015. It is mandatory to the candidates to provide mobile number in online application form. An alert to download admit card will be sent to the applied candidate on e-mail and SMS. Candidates will have to login to their account with registration ID and Password to download Admit Card.

Process to APPLY ONLINE
Candidates are required to read the instructions which
are mentioned in the advertisement before filling ONLINE application form. Candidates are required to go to Apply
Online for Registration direct Link provided in the end of the post. Click on
the direct link say Apply ONLINE for Stenographer Posts. Candidates are
required to Fill ONLINE Application form carefully especially to Red star
mark column. Don’t leave RED star mark columns. Mobile No. is mandatory Column
to be filled by the candidate on which password will be sent by Organization. Click
on submit button for Registration of Step I. Select the payment Bank for
Payment of Application Fee. Select the Mode of Payment E-Challan. Take a
print of challan and Make the payment to the bank which is mentioned in the
advertisement. It will take 48 hours to activate the link again for
registration of Part II. Attach Scanned colored photo and signature as asked in
prescribed size. Enter the other required field mentioned on screen. Click
on submit & lock button. It will process your application form for final
submission. If it goes all correct it will show you a massage of Submitted

About TNUSRB SI Recruitment 2015 – Exam
Syllabus, Exam Pattern and Selection Process Details
The Final Selection of the candidates
will be made based on the performance in Phase I, Phase II and Phase III. Phase
I will be written examination which will be objective type. It is also known as
Paper 1. Phase II will be a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Phase III will be
personal Interview. No interview will be conducted for SI in Department quota.
Phase I –
Objective Examination
Paper 1 exam will be conducted by Pen MODE. The Written Examination will be conducted at 32
District Headquarters. Paper 1 will
consist of multiple choice questions (MCQ). Paper 1 will consist of 140
questions of 70 marks from various topics such as General Awareness (40 marks)
and Logical Analysis, Numerical
Analysis, Psychology Test, Communication Skills, Information Handling Ability (40 marks). The time duration for Paper 1 will be 3hours
or 180 minutes.
Phase II – PET/
PST
PET / PST will be conducted for those
candidates who will get qualified from written examination. The physical
measurement will be made to check suitability/ to verify standard requirement.
Phase III –
Personal Interview
Candidates qualifying in the Phase-II
Examination and securing sufficiently high rank in merit shall be short-listed
for interview. The shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview
which will be headed by selection committee.
