Indian Air Force (IAF) had conducted written exam on 22nd February 2015 (Sunday) for the posts of Commissioned Officer vacancies in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Branches through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). A huge numbers of candidates had appeared in this written examination. The Latest News is that Indian Air Force (IAF) is going to release result / scorecard/ marks details of AFCAT written examination which has released on 01st April 2015 on official website.

IAF AFCAT Exam 2015 Result Scorecard Cut off Marks Details
The AFCAT Exam was conducted on 22nd February 2015 by Pen Mode. In Pen Mode, OMR sheet was filled by Blue/Black ball point pen. AFCAT Exam was an objective multiple choice question paper consisted of various sections contained questions of General Awareness, Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability, Reasoning and Military Aptitude. The exam was a multiple choice question (MCQ) paper in which four options were provided out of which candidates were required to choose one correct answer. The time duration of exam was of 2 hours or 120 minutes. There was a negative marking of 1/3rd as a penalty to per wrong answer.
EKT – Engineering Knowledge Testing For Technical Branches (Engineering Candidates)
The EKT exam was conducted immediately after the completion of AFCAT Exam. The Technical Exam was conducted for 45 minutes. The exam was a multiple choice question paper containing technical questions of respective branches/subjects.

·         Select the notification provided on drop down list.
·         Enter the security Code.
·         Click on Login button.

About IAF AFCAT Exam 2015 – Exam Syllabus, Exam Pattern & Mode of Selection
Next Stage i.e. 2nd Stage – Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Testing
The qualified/ short listed candidates of AFCAT Exam will be called for AFSB Testing which will be conducted in three stages at various centres i.e. Dehradun, Mysore, Varanasi or Gandhinagar. Every Stage will be qualifying stage. In case any candidate fail in any stage will be shorted out or will not go to next stage of AFSB Testing.
·         Stage 1 – Intelligence Testing (First Day)
·         Stage 2 – Psychology Test, Group Test & Interview (Five Day)
·         Note for Flying Branches, Candidates will have to qualify Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) conducted by Administration.
3rd Stage – Final Interview & Medical Examination
The short listed candidates of 2nd stage will be called for Interview.
The Final Selected Candidates will have to pass Medical Examination of the candidate.
The Final Merit List of selected candidates will be prepared and released on the official website of Indian Air Force.
