Himachal Pradesh Forest
Department had invited application for 465 vacancies of Forest Guard up to 14th
July 2016 (29th July 2016 for remote areas) in which huge numbers of
eligible and well qualified candidates had filled applications for these posts.
The final selection is to be made by measuring performance in physical
efficiency test, written test and personal interview.
The HP Forest Guard Admit card /
call letter is essential to produce at exam centre/ interview or PET venue at
each stage. The physical efficiency test (PET) is planned to be held from 17th
August to 23rd August 2016. The PET will be comprised of physical standard test
and physical efficiency test to be organized by Himachal Pradesh Forest
Department.
The purpose of this physical test
is to measure physical structure to be matched with the standard requirement
for Forest Guard posts and to evaluate physical efficiency such as stamina in
racing, long jump and shot-put events in a predetermined set of time periods.
The Physical Efficiency test will
be of qualifying nature only. Mind that no weightage will be added up into the
final merit list. The qualified and shortlisted candidates will be invited to
attend written test which is scheduled to be organized on 18th
September 2016. HP Forest Guard PET result will be announced in the last week
of August or in the first week of September 2016.

These candidates will be provided
HP Forest Guard Exam Admit card to attend the examination. The Admit card will
be uploaded at least 20-22 days prior the exam date. It is assumed that
Himachal Pradesh Forest Guard Department will release online admit card for
written test in the first week of September 2016. HP Forest Guard Call Letters
will probably available in 2-3 days after PET result declaration.
