Now-a-days, Gujarat Police Department is busy to examine online application form for short listing candidates to be called for written test. Those applicants who didn’t pay their application fees will be eliminated from the recruitment process and would not be called to attend written exam which will organized very soon.
Earlier Gujarat Police department had invited online applications from 07th to 30th July 2016 at www.ojas.gujarat.gov.in for the recruitment of 17532 posts of Constable (Lokrakshak), SRP and Jail Prahari. Huge numbers of candidates had applied for these vacant posts.
The final selection process will be completed by performing written test followed by Physical efficiency test, Medical Exam and Screening of Testimonials/ Document verification. The written test is going to be held very soon by the Gujarat Police department.

Gujarat Police Constable PET Admit Card 2016

Physical Efficiency Test will be organized for those candidates who would pass written test. It is mandatory for the candidates to score minimum qualifying marks to be shortlisted for physical efficiency test (PET). The PET schedule will be announced after Gujarat Police Constable result declaration. The Gujarat Police Constable PET Admit card will be uploaded at least 20-22 days before PET schedule.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
·         For Male candidates Race of 5 Kms must be completed within 24 minutes.
·         For Female candidates Race of 1.6 Kms must be completed within 8 ½ minutes
For candidates of Ladakh Region:
·         Male Race of 1 Mile must be completed within 6 ½ minutes
·         Female Race of 800 meters must be completed within 4 minutes
Physical standard for the post of Gujarat Police Constable Recruitment 2016:
a)    Height:
·         For Male: 170 cms.
·         For Female: 157 cms.
b)    Chest:
·         For Male only – Unexpanded: 80 cms and Expanded : Min expansion 5 cms.
c)    Weight: For Male and Female: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards
Pregnancy at the time of PET will be considered a disqualification and pregnant female candidates shall be rejected at this stage. Note that Gujarat Police Constable PET will not be conducted for Ex-Servicemen.
