Selection Commission is working on preparing list of eligible candidates to be
called for written exam which is going to be organized very soon. The specific
exam date will be announced on the official website.
The written exam is expected to
be organized in Feb 2017 and OSSSC
Admit Card 2017 for Agricultural Worker, Horticulture Extension Worker and Statistical
Field Surveyor exam will be uploaded around 15 days before the exam date.
The selection will be made on the
basis of following stages;
1. Written
exam
2. Document
verification
3. Final
allotment
In the written exam, two papers
will be organization as Paper I and Paper II. Further, Paper I and Paper II will
be comprised of two and three parts respectively.
Paper I: 120 marks, 1 ½ hours
Part – 1st – Mathematics,
50 marks,
Topics: Arithmetic, Algebra,
Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry and Statistics
Part – 2nd, General
Science, Physics (20 marks), Chemistry (20 marks) and Biology (20 marks), Crop
Production/ Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Repair and maintenance of power driven
farm machinery etc (10 marks)
Paper II: 100 marks, 1 ½ hours
Part – 1st – General
Studies (50 marks), English Language (25 marks), Odia Language (25 marks)
Type of Exam: Objective type
Question Paper: Multiple choice
