GPSC has all set to release
pre-exam admit card which will be available 15-20 days before the date of
preliminary examination. The date of pre-exam will be notified soon on website
www.gpsc.gujarat.gov.in.
Earlier GPSC notification was
released on 15th March 2017 in which online applications were
invited up to 31st March 2017. Huge numbers of eligible candidates
had applied for these posts.

The final selection of candidates
will be based on written exam and interview. The written exam will be of two parts
I) pre exam & II) main exam. The exam pattern for pre and mains are
discussed as follows -
Pre exam -
·
Paper I (general studies I) – 200 marks
·
Paper II (general studies II) – 200 marks
Total – 400 marks
The qualified/shortlisted
candidates will be called for mains exam.
Main exam -
·
Gujarati – 150 marks
·
English – 150 marks
·
Essay – 150 marks
·
General studies I – 150 marks
·
General studies II – 150 marks
·
General studies III – 150 marks
Total – 900 marks
The candidates who qualifies
mains exam will be invited to attend interview. The interview will be taken by
the selection committee.
Interview -
The interview consists of 100
marks.
