 Latest news on 21 September 2018 -  RBI specialist officer Exam Admit Card has been available now - 
 The good news is that Reserve Bank of India has  uploaded the online  call letter for the post of specialist officer for the examination which has scheduled to be held on 29th September 2018. 

Those candidates who have applied for this post can download their RBI SO admit card from the link given here.


On 17.08.2018 – The online application link has been activated now.

Before applying online, candidates should—
The following documents must be scanned for online application form -
-       photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm)
-       signature
-       left thumb impression
-       a hand written declaration (text given below)
Ensuring that the all these scanned documents adhere to the required specifications as given below.
The text for the hand written declaration is as follows – “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

Selection Process – The final selection will be completed on the basis of online written test and interview.
 RBI SO Final Selection of the candidate will be made on the basis of merit list from online test and interview. The merit list for various categories general, other backward classes, schedule caste, schedule tribe and physical handicapped candidates will be available on the official website against the number of vacancies advertised for each category.

Phase II – Interview
The interview will be organised for 50 marks.
Paper 1 contain negative marking for every wrong answer.
Paper 2 and paper 3 of only sucks candidates who's your minimum cut off marks in paper 1 will be checked.
Paper 2 will be insert in English only.
The successful candidate can opt for interview in any of language English or Hindi.
The final merit list will be prepared by evaluating performance in paper 1, paper 2, paper 3 and interview together.
Paper 1 will be an objective type on professional knowledge in area of specialisation comprised of multiple choice questions.
Paper 2 will be descriptive type English will be conducted to type out answer with the help of keyboard on a computer.
Paper 3 descriptive type on professional knowledge in the area of specialisation will be held offline mode and questions will be displayed on the computer screen.
The online test qualified candidates will be called for interview.
The document verification session will be organized for the typing test successful candidates.
Documents to be required at the time of final selection/ appointment/ Joining are discussed as below.
1. 2-3 passport size photographs
2. Class X/ Matriculation Mark sheet and certificate.
3. Class XII/ Intermediate Mark sheet and certificate (if any)
4. Graduation Mark sheet (if any)
5. Caste Certificate (if applicable).
6. Aadhar Card (12-digit numbers)
7. Gap year certificate (if any)
8. Character certificate

Based on the performance in the Computer Based examination, interview and document verification of the candidate, RBI final merit list will be prepared for each category of the post.
How to Apply Online for RBI Specialist Officer Recruitment 2018.
1.    Registration –
Choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system. Note down and login your account.
2.    Application Form –
After click on save and next button. Upload your photograph and signature.
Enter your particulars and other details in 2-3 steps. Save the documents and validate your details.
3.    Payment
Make the payment online through ‘Payment’ tab appear after the final submission of the application form.
