In order to qualify the written test, it was decided that the general and other backward classes candidates were required to score 45 % and sC ST candidates 40 % in the exam. But the qualifying criteria has been revised and the general and OBC candidates are required to score 33% and SC/ST candidates 30 % to qualify the exam.
UPSC assistant teacher written exam was held on 27th may 2018 at 248 exam centres in which 107908 out of 125745 candidate attendant exam. Now the candidates are waiting for the result which may be available in the month of August 2018.
Earlier exam result may be available on 31st July 2018 but due to administrative reason the date of exam result has been revised and was expected to be available on 10th August 2018.
But still no result has been declared. The result may be available in 3rd or 4th week of August 2018. The appointment letter for joining may be available all 5th September 2018.
