Selection Commission (SSC) had
released most awaited notification on official
website in which online applications are invited for the posts of Auditor in CAG Offices, Auditor
in CGDA Offices, Auditor in Cabinet Secretariat (Others Auditor), Jr.
Acctt./Accountant in CAG Offices, Accountant/Jr. Accountant & Other in CGA
and Deptt of Telecommunication, UDC in Customs, Excise & Service Tax
Appellate Tribunal, Tax Assistant in CBDT, Tax Assistant in CBEC, Compiler, RGI
and Central Bureau of Narcotics (Sub-Inspector). The Final Selection of the
candidates will be done based on the performance in SSC Tier 1 & SSC Tier 2
written examination & Personal Interview of the candidates. SSC CGL Tier 1
written examination will be conducted.
Those candidates who qualify SSC CGL Tier
1 exam will be called for SSC Tier 2 exam. Based upon SSC Tier 2 Cut off Marks,
the shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview. The interested
candidates must be Graduation in any discipline from any recognized university
and institute with minimum 50% marks.
The Application Fee for written
examination is Rs 100/- for UR/ OBC and No fee for SC/ST/ Women candidates. The
age limit of candidates is 18-27 years and relaxation will be as per
government. Candidates are advised to take a printout of their system generated
online application form after submitting the application. The candidates must
note that only online mode for application is available. No other mode of application

First Stage- Online Registration Step

ONLINE Application form (don’t leave RED star mark columns).

the payment Bank for Payment of Application Fee.

About SSC CGL Recruitment – Exam
Syllabus, Exam Details & Selection Process
The Final Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in
three tiers i.e. Tier -I - Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type),
Tier -II -- Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type) and Tier -III
-- Personality Test cum Interview/Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test
(wherever applicable)/Document Verification of the candidates.
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will be conducted
by Pen MODE. The
exam will be entertained through filling of circles on Computer Generated Page
OMR Sheet containing information of questions and answers will be provided by
darkening circles provided in the sheet. The question paper will be provided in
bilingual language i.e. Hindi or English.
There will be a multiple choice
questions paper containing subjects General
Intelligence & Reasoning (50 questions
of 50 marks), English
Comprehension (50 questions of 50 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions of 50 marks) and General Awareness (50
questions of 50 marks) questions. The total marks for exam will be 200 marks of
200 questions and duration was 2 hours i.e. 120 minutes. There will be a negative
marking of 1/4th allotted for each wrong answer provided in Tier I.
SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam
Those candidates who qualify SSC CGL
Tier 1 Exam will be called for SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam which will be conducted
by Pen MODE. The exam will be entertained through filling of circles on
Computer Generated Page OMR Sheet containing information of questions and
answers will be provided by darkening circles provided in the sheet. The
question paper will be provided in bilingual language i.e. Hindi or English.
There will be a multiple choice
questions paper containing two papers i.e. Paper 1 & Paper 2. Paper 1 will
be of Quantitative Abilities which will be 200 marks contained 100 Questions
which will be required to be completed in duration of 2 hours. Paper 2 will be of
English Language & Comprehension for 200 marks contained 100 Questions
which will be required to be completed in duration of 2 hours. In Tier-II,
there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks in Paper-II and 0.50 marks in
Paper-I and Paper-III for each wrong answer.
SSC
CGL - Computer Proficiency Test
The qualified candidates will be called
for computer proficiency test in 2 Modules i.e. Module I & Module II &
III. Candidates will report at least one hour before the commencement of CPT.
Candidates will be on the seat for CPT 10 minutes before the commencement of
CPT. Candidates will be required to bring one/two passport size photograph to
the CPT Centre.
Module I, II
& III – Preparation for CPT
Candidates will open spread sheet &
write their name & roll no. on the spreadsheet. Invigilator will provide
instruction for CPT. Candidates will have to follow these instructions during
CPT.
Part 1 –
English Typing Test – Total Time 15 Minutes
Candidates will be given a 50-60 words
paragraph for typing in 15 minutes. Then candidates will have to take printout
of type test & will require submitting to invigilator by signing on each
page. Candidates will have to type for 15 minutes to qualify this test. Candidates
typing speed will be required to meet the standard requirement which will be 20
words per minutes in English to qualify the typing test / Skill test.
Document
Verification for DEST
Selected candidates were required
to bring computer generated online application, result print, original
documents (10th, DMC, Caste certificate –If applicable etc.) and one
set of self-attested of all the documents to the venue of DEST. Candidates were
required to bring at least one Address proof i.e. PAN Card, Ration Card, Aadhar
Card, Voter card or Driving License.
Candidates were advised to bring two extra colored recent passport size
photograph (same as pasted on computer generated application form) required for
application form or other document requirements. Candidates were required to bring
Caste/PWD/EXS certificate to claim for seat available for reserve
category.
SSC CGL Final Result Details
A Final Merit
List of Finally Selected Candidates based up on the performance in interview
and written exam marks will be released on the official website of SSC. SSC will release Final result recommended
list for the posts of interview & non-interview of the candidates.
There will be three different merit criteria:–

Final Selection for Interview posts
(other than Statistical Investigator) –
Option
A to Q, S
Interview posts (other than Statistical Investigator) – Tier I + Tier II
(Paper I + Paper II) + Interview marks. Total 5373 Candidates are selected for
Interview Posts.
(ii)
Final Selection for Interview post
(Statistical Investigator Grade II) – Option R
Statistical Investigator post - Tier I + Tier II (Paper I + Paper II +
Paper III) + Interview marks. Total 512 Candidates are selected for Statistical
Investigator Grade II Post.
(iii)
Non-interview posts - Tier I + Tier II
(Paper I + Paper II)
